On June 25, 2023, seven people gathered around a table to meet for the first time about a mission trip to Romania…. all because God had called us.
Called us to go.
Called us to love and serve.
Called us to something bigger than we could know or imagine.
26 hours and 6,019 miles (at least according to Google), we have arrived.
Tired.
Expectant.
Grateful.
We were greeted by ChaCha, the leader of Marantha Missions and the pastor we will serve alongside of the next six days. He has not changed. His laugh is still just as hearty, and his hug just as big. But most of all, as we chatted on the long drive from the airport, one thing became abundantly clear. His love for Jesus has grown, and he still desires to make Him known. We had our first dinner with Florine and Rodika, two of the most humble and faithful servants I’ve ever known. Their table is Acts 2 in real life, and we feasted together in the presence of the Lord. I could not hug them enough. They are tangible proof of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
From a cancelled flight at 5:35am on Thursday to a table He set for us, our faith is certain.
The One who called us is faithful, and He will do it. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:24
He already did, and we can’t wait to see what He does next!
I am just thrilled you are able to share! May your journey be filled with so many moments of joy and fulfillment as y’all embrace every challenge! Love the smiles and love each one of you! God bless!
